Tierrasanta Area Bike Routes, Lanes, and Trails

_ Bike Path or Trail
A completely separate right-of-way for the exclusive use of non-motorized travel		 _ Bicycle Route
A shared right-of-way designated by signs only, with bicycle traffic sharing the roadway with motor vehicles.

_ Bike Lane
A striped lane for one way bike travel identified by special signs, lane striping, and other pavement markings.

 

_ Other Suggested Routes
Under California Law, all roadways are open for cycling unless posted closed. These are not official bikeways, but suggested routes for cycling. Bicyclists should carefully choose to use facilities that are appropriate for their skills.

Note: The extended roads from Tierrasanta Blvd. to Princess View and from Clairemont Mesa Blvd. through Mission Trails Regional Park do not exist.
