Committees

The Tierrasanta Community Council and Planning Committee (TCC) maintains a variety of committees that assist the TCC in resolving community issues. The TCC also has representatives to various advisory groups in the city and region. Individuals are appointed by and serve at the pleasure of the Chair. All appointments are approved by the full TCC. Matters approved in committee are presented to the TCC for action. Committee membership is not limited to members of the TCC. However, each committee must have a TCC member assigned.

Representatives to advisory groups shall represent the official position of the TCC.  If timing prohibits the TCC from taking a position on an issue, the representative shall advise the Chair, who will convene a session of the Executive Board.  The Executive Board will investigate the issue and provide guidance to the representative.

Committee members who are not elected representatives to the TCC are strongly encouraged to participate in the training offered by the City of San Diego for legal indemnification purposes.
