The
Tierrasanta Community Council will present the 2nd annual Island in
the Hills Golf Classic on Sunday, June 9th at 1:30 at the Carlton Oaks
Country Club. The $125 entry fee entities each participant to 18 holes
of golf to be played in a Scramble format, electric cart, driving, range
balls, challenging contests such as Longest Drive and Closest to the
Pin, a delicious lunch on the course, and much more. Golfers of all
handicaps are welcome, but sign up quickly as space is limited.
Last
year's event drew more than 40 golfers and raised $2500, all of which
was spent in Tierrasanta for events such as fireworks at the
TierraFest. This year, women are encouraged to play in mixed foursomes
or in the newly formed women's division. Separate prizes will be
awarded to each division.
Hole
sponsorships are available for $100 and include a nice sign at the
hole with your company name as well as placement on all future
marketing materials.
