EAST END OF TIERRASANTA BLVD IN THE AREA OF THE PROPOSED
BICYCLE PATH

The photos below show the environment at the east end of Tierrasanta Blvd. where the proposed bike path to Mission Gorge/ Princess View is to be constructed. The first sequence of photos from right to left move the viewer progressively from the termination of Tierrasanta Blvd. to the closest point at the river gorge (land drops away sharply to the water level). The last five photos shoe the Tierrasanta side of the San Diego River from across Mission Gorge Road at Princess View.

1. At the cul-de-sac at the east end of Tierrasanta Blvd. It is approximately 1100 feet to the river from the end of the cul-de-sac. 2. Moving beyond the recycle containers to the east 3. About 1/3 the distance to the river gorge drop. The pile of fence board trash in the foreground is neatly stacked at least.
4. At the trash pile continuing east. 5. Near the river gorge drop at the end of the path shown in No. 4 facing southwest. At the top left of the view is the Viacha Drive ridge and just below is a faint chain link fence which is the boundary for the north end of the Navy Admiral Baker Field golf course. Note the trail 6.
