2019 TCC Election Results

The results are in and congratulations to the winners! The 2019 elections were concluded and the ballots counted last night at the Tierrasanta Community Council & Planning Group meeting. Winners included:

  • Area 1: Mike Ogilvie
  • Area 2: Dawn Nielsen Lostritto
  • Area 3: Don Chick
  • Area 4: Steve Muckle

Elected directors will be seated at the April 17th 2019 TCC meeting. In addition, the TCC will elect officer positions including Vice President and Treasurer.

Director vacancies still exist for Area 2 (2-year term), Area 3 (2-year term), Commercial Director (2-year term), At Large Director (1-year term) and Village Mission Valley Apartments Director (1-year term). At the April 2019 meeting, we will solicit candidates for each of these vacant positions and the TCC will take a vote to appoint eligible candidates. If none come forward, the TCC may declare these positions "at large" and solicit any eligible candidates outside of these respective areas who wish to serve on the Council.

In order to be eligible to serve as a Director on the Tierrasanta Community Council & Planning Group, you must be at least 18 years of age, have attended at least two meetings of the Tierrasanta Community Council in the past 12 months (as demonstrated by meeting minutes or sign-in sheet) and be affiliated with the Tierrasanta community as a:

  • property owner, who is an individual identified as the sole or partial owner of record or their designee, of a real residential property (either developed or undeveloped), within the civilian area of the community planning area, or
  • resident, who is an individual whose primary address of residence is a residentialaddress in the civilian area of the community planning area.
  • a local business person, who is a local business or not-for-profit owner, operator, or designee at a non-residential real property address in the community planning area; only one representative of a particular establishment may hold a seat on the community planning group at one time unless he/she meets the resident or owner of residential property requirement in 1 or 2 above.
