Purpose
The TCC as the Community Council has an implied obligation to be mindful of the general welfare of Tierrasanta and to explore future changes and improvements. Our community is a great place to live, a fine location, and has a great reputation. The TCC is in a position to lead efforts to maintain that status. The Vision and Goals Committee is the working group that will provide organization and visibility to that initiative.
Leadership and Membership
The Visions and Goals Committee Chair Person shall be a member of the TCC. Numerical membership composition of the Committee is not specified. Other members of the Committee may be TCC members as well as other residents of Tierrasanta.
Roles and Responsibilities
The Committee shall compile and maintain a catalog of principles, concerns, issues and proposals that affect the community’s quality of life and future improvements. The catalog shall include items of an ongoing nature, as well as concepts and proposals for possible implementation.
The catalog will be large and wide ranging. No specific priorities or time lines will be included. Other than the ongoing items, specific projects from the catalog can be selected by the TCC and/or other individuals for action as appropriate.
The committee will meet as required and solicit additions, revisions or deletions to the catalog from all sources within Tierrasanta. Annually the committee will provide any proposed catalog modifications to the TCC. The TCC will approve any changes to the catalog.
Inclusion in the catalog does not, by itself, indicate that any specific item is approved for action.
By separate action, the TCC may indicate in the catalog that certain items are approved for action. Conversely, an item not indicated as approved for action, does not preclude other persons or organizations from taking action.
