Three Tierrasanta residents were recently recognized for their service to the community on the Tierrasanta Community Council at its April 2019 meeting. Russ May, Mike George, and Kevin Oskow all received awards presented by Juan Hernandez (representing Congressman Scott Peters), Sheldon Zemen (representing City Council Member Scott Sherman), and Jan Whitacre (TCC President).
Russ served on the council for seven years and contributed to the development and administration of its website. Mike George has served on the council three separate times. He is a tireless volunteer. Kevin Oskow chaired the Vision and Goals Committee and served on several other committees. All will be sorely missed.
